Keyboard shortcuts for forms and consultations

Use keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation and formatting when creating or editing forms or consultation notes.

Note: Shortcuts below are for PC users. Mac users will use CMD instead of Ctrl.

Ctrl + Right-click

Home

Jumps to the beginning of the current line

Ctrl + Home

Jumps to the beginning of the form or consultation note

End

Jumps to the end of the current line

Ctrl + End

Jumps to the end of the form or consultation note

Page Down

Scrolls down, approximately by the length of the editing area

Down Arrow

Scrolls down, one line at a time

Page Up

Scrolls up, approximately by the length of the editing area

Up Arrow

Scrolls up, one line at a time

Enter

Start a new line with double spacing

Shift + Enter

Start a new line with single spacing

Backspace

Deletes the character to the left of the cursor

Delete

Deletes the character to the right of the cursor

Ctrl + Backspace

Deletes the word to the left of the cursor

Ctrl + Delete

Deletes the word to the right of the cursor

Ctrl + Z

Undo

Ctrl + Y, Shift + Ctrl + Z

Redo

Ctrl + X, Shift + Delete

Cuts highlighted text

Ctrl + C

Copies highlighted text

Ctrl + V, Shift + Insert
