Set up products and services that are purchased sequentially, such as vaccinations within a series, to create the next reminder and delete previous reminders in the series when the product or service is entered on a consultation. If a client skips one part of the series, the existing reminders should still be satisfied using this method.

- Create reminders for each of the vaccinations in the series. If your practice would like to see which vaccination of the series the patient is due for, we recommend creating reminders with descriptions that include which number in the series is due next. For example, DHPP #1, DHPP #2, DHPP #3, etc.
Note: If your practice is using the combined reminder email, select the new reminders in the combined reminder email setup to include them when reminders are sent. If you’re not using Neo yet, remember to turn off the combined reminder email until you’re ready to go live.

Add products for each of the vaccinations in the series.
Note: If your practice would like to see which vaccination of the series the patient has received, we recommend creating products with descriptions that include the number in the series. For example, DHPP #1, DHPP #2, DHPP #3, etc.
- Edit the product’s special actions to set when reminders should be created and deleted when the invoice has been closed (marked ready to be paid).
- In the Create Reminders section, enter the number of days the reminder will be due after the product is entered on a consultation. For example, the DHPP 1 year vaccination reminder due date is created for 21 days after the DHPP #3 vaccination is entered on a consultation.
- In the Delete Additional Reminders section, select other reminders the product should delete.
Note: Reminders that occur in a series should delete anything that has occurred prior to the product entered on the consultation. For example, DHPP #1, DHPP #2, and DHPP #3 reminders are deleted when the DHPP #3 product is entered on a consultation.
