Neo’s subscription pricing is a price-per user model, so that your monthly subscription more accurately reflects how many of your staff are active Neo users. Many of the subscription services you pay for use this model; it also helps ensure that we can grow and evolve Neo, so it meets your needs.
Neo will automatically record how many active users there are and automatically charge accordingly, ensuring that you don’t pay for unused logins.
Because Neo is cloud-based, users may log in to it from any internet-enabled device using their own individual user credentials—at no extra charge.
Neo's subscription model has a single base price per month, which includes your first three (3) active and logged in users ("paid users").
- Each additional user who logs in after the first three users will be an additional price per month.
- You will not be charged for additional users:
- that do not log in.
- the month after a paid user has been deactivated by you.
IMPORTANT: To ensure you do not pay for users that no longer work at your practice, make sure to deactivate the user in Neo: once deactivated, the user will be removed from the next month’s billing cycle.
An active user is a user whose status is Active in their User Management profile.
A paid user is an active user that has logged into Neo at least once.
Only active users who have logged in are counted toward the paid user count. A user is counted the first time they log in and is counted as a paid user until they are deactivated.
Users may log in to Neo from multiple devices, as needed, and will not be billed per logged in session.

For multi-location practices, there is an additional charge per location per month.
We strongly recommend each user uses their own unique login: while users can log in to Neo with the same username and password, you sacrifice important auditing. For example, you will not know who:
- Scheduled or updated appointments
- Created, updated, or locked / unlocked consultation notes
- Closed or reopened consultations
- Entered products on consultations
- Entered payments
For users with the Billing Access permission, you can view your subscription details on the Subscription and Upgrades page. Click on your username in the upper right corner of Neo; then click Subscriptions.
Once a user is deactivated, they will be removed from the next month’s billing for Neo; so you will not continue to be charged for that user.
