Check a patient in

When a patient arrives for their visit, you can check them in from their appointment on the Schedule tab. 

This article teaches you how to check in the patient and print any forms relevant to their visit from their appointment.

Check in the patient

  1. Click the Schedule tab.
  2. On the calendar, click the patient's appointment.
  3. Click the appointment status (Not Arrived, Late, or No Show) to change it to Arrived. The patient is now checked in.

Print patient forms for the appointment

  1.  To print a patient form, click the appointment card to view the appointment popover card. Then click the Forms icon.
  2. In the Search Forms box, start typing the form name. The Patient Forms list will automatically filter as you type.
  3. Click the name of the form you want to use. The form preview will open in a new browser tab.

  4. Optional. Click Edit at the top of the window and make any changes.
  5. Click Print at the top of the window. You also have the option to Save in Files or Email.
