Add a new patient to an existing client

If a client wants to add a new patient to their record, follow these steps.

  1. Click the Clients tab.
  2. In the search fields, enter the client's first or last name. You can click the plus sign to add more filters.
  3. Click Go.
  4. Click the client in the list.
  5. Click Add New Patient.
  6. In the Add New Patient window, complete the patient’s information.
    Note: You must select the patient's species prior to selecting their breed. The breed list will display the breeds associated with the selected species.
  7. Click Save. A confirmation appears in the message bar.
  8. On the patient details page, add any additional info, reminders, alerts, etc. by clicking each tab.
  9. Click Save Changes.
