Sales Tax Summary report
The Sales Tax Summary report is a brand new report that offers Neo practices with quick and easy access to a summary of sales and tax amounts for accrual and cash-basis accounting.
- The date used to generate the report depends upon on the accounting method selected:
- Accrual: The report contains all invoices/refunds closed during the period selected.
- Cash: The report contains all invoices/refunds paid during the period selected.
- The report is available as a PDF that you can print or download.
- By default, users with permission to access to the existing Tax Reconciliation report have access to the new Sales Tax Summary report.
- Any modifications to report access can be handled via User Management.
- See the Using the Sales Tax Summary report article for detailed steps.
Neo report descriptions
Summary descriptions are now available for all Neo reports to help you understand the purpose and contents of the reports to which you have access.
Updates to Tax Reconciliation report
Several improvements have been made to the existing Neo Tax Reconciliation report:
- The GST average for invoice column has been removed from the spreadsheet for both the Cash and Accrual Basis reports.
- The GST for invoice column has been renamed Tax Amount in both the Cash Basis and Accrual Basis reports.
Addition of patient signalment information
Patient signalment and client contact information has been added to provide information exactly where you need it.
- Patient signalment (species, breed, sex, weight, age, temperament) and client contact information (email address, home, cell and work phone numbers if available) are now available and easily accessible when creating, editing or viewing an appointment.
- Patient signalment information is also available when editing vaccine details or updating a rabies tag number.
Improved handling of moving image studies
- When a multiframe DICOM study, like an ultrasound or CT scan, contains more than eight images, Neo displays only the first image with an indicator showing the number of images available.
- You can select the thumbnail to access the entire series in IDEXX Web PACS.
