Learn how to navigate the patient Consults tab in Neo.
The consultation history provides a patient’s entire health history. Consultations are listed in the patient’s Consults tab in reverse chronological order (most recent first).
View the Consults tab
- Search for and select the patient.
- Click the Consults tab.
Now you are viewing the Consults tab, where you can filter which consultations are displayed or take different action including printing the consultation history or viewing the consultation page.
Navigate the Consults tab
Match an item below to the corresponding number on the consultation image to learn how to navigate the Consults tab.
- Change the date range view for the consultation history. The last year is displayed by default.
- Change the detail level to display or hide products and pricing.
- All Details
- Hide Prices
- Notes Only
- Invoiced Products
- Declined Products
- Print the patient consultation history.
- See the date and timestamp when the consultation was created.
- Quickly see each consultation's status: Draft, Unpaid, Paid, and Partly Paid. Counter sales are also indicated by COUNTER SALE underneath the status.
Note: Consultations with notes only or a $0.00 total will not have a status. - View the consultation by clicking its ID number.
- View the consultation by clicking the menu button and selecting View. If the consultation is Draft, Delete will be an option from the menu for logged in users with the appropriate permission.
- View voided consultations when you select the Include Voided checkbox.
View voided and corrected consultations details from the Consults tab
Consultations that were voided or corrected by a user will contain additional information when viewed from the Consults tab to help you understand when, why, and by whom the void or correction was completed.
Reminder: To view voided consultations on the Consults tab, select the Include Voided checkbox. Then click Go.
Match an item below to the corresponding letter on the consultation images to learn about the additional information provided for voided and corrected consultations.
View a voided consultation
a. Original consultation ID = the consultation you voided.
b. Status = Voided
c. Voided by ID = the consultation that reversed the original consultation.
d. Void Details
- Reason = entered by the user upon voiding.
- Audit information – Voided date and time, and voided by user.
Note: These details will not show in the Client Portal, Third Party Access, and will not print/email.
View a corrected consultation
a. Original consultation ID = the consultation automatically created for the correction.
b. Status = Draft, Unpaid, Unpaid, Partly Paid, Paid
c. Corrects consultation ID = the original consultation voided by the correction.
d. Correction Details
- Reason = entered by the user upon correcting.
- Audit information – Corrected on date and time, and corrected by user.
