NEW: One receipt for multiple invoices, and the best of VetConnect PLUS is built into Neo
Now when a client pays for multiple pets, all those transactions can be printed or emailed on a single receipt. Ditto for when a client pays multiple invoices for the same pet, or even when you need to print multiple unpaid and partially paid invoices.
Note: To use the new feature, a one-time setup is required.
There are two new super form variables
- [invoice_details]
- [invoice_details_tax_labels]
Either variable will allow your practice to print or email multiple invoices together if the client happens to pay more than one invoice at a time. When added to your default invoice templates, the variables will:
- Group by patient and display totals for each selected invoice
- Sort the invoices by patient name and then invoice number
- Display the totals of all selected invoices
- Display the payment made for all selected invoices as a total per payment method
- Display the remaining unpaid balance for the selected invoices.
Setup options
- Setup option #1: To simplify your setup of this new feature, we’ve created a new invoice form that already has the new variables. Select the new _invoice_v3_ as your Default Invoice template in Administration > Company Settings.
Note: You can format the _invoice_v3_ template under Forms & Certificates, as needed. - Setup option #2: Update your existing default invoice template
- Confirm your default invoice templates in Administration > Company Settings
- Go to Forms & Certificates, locate the default invoice template, and click on the name.
- Replace the Products/Services table with one of two new super form variables:
Tip: To delete the Products/Services table, right-click anywhere in the table. Then select Delete Table. - Type one of the new super form variables in the template:

- [invoice_details_tax_labels]
