FAQs: Vetcove integration with Neo

For customers in the US only

This article covers frequently asked questions about the Vetcove integration setup and usage within Neo.

After you have created your free Vetcove account at https://www.vetcove.com, in Neo go to Administration > Integrations. Then click Connect in the Vetcove section and enter your Vetcove credentials.

Products and stock levels are refreshed every 6 hours. After the refresh, Vetcove will add products with an on hand quantity less than its Min quantity to the Critical Shortages list in Vetcove.

You also have the option to manually sync products from the Critical Shortages list in Vetcove.

Note: Vetcove’s Critical Shortages is comparable to Neo's Critical Stock Shortages.
 

To view your products in Vetcove, click More. Then click PIMS Integration.

You can view  your products that have a low quantity and need to be ordered:

  • In Neo, on the Critical Stock Shortages page.
  • In Vetcove, on the PIMS Integration page.

Note: Products and stock levels are refreshed every 6 hours from Neo to Vetcove.

Products may not be available in Vetcove if:

  • The product in Neo is not tracking on hand quantities in Neo. Only products tracking on hand quantities are synched to Vetcove.
    Note: In Neo, products must have a value entered in their Min box for on hand quantities to be tracked.
    • If the product’s Min box does not have a value recorded in Neo, enter a value in the product’s Min box.
    • If the product’s Min box does have a value recorded in Neo, please contact Neo Support for assistance.
  • The product was created or recently updated to track quantity, it will not show automatically in Vetcove until the next sync in Vetcove.
    Tip: You can select Inventory Sync in Vetcove if you need to manually sync the product, so it can be ordered immediately.
     

No!  With a Vetcove integration, every purchase order you create in Vetcove will automatically be downloaded into Neo.

All purchase orders, whether created in Vetcove or Neo, are received from your Purchase Order List in Neo.

Any shipping and tax amounts will not automatically populate when receiving a purchase order.

The shipping and tax amounts can be manually entered on the receipt, as needed..
