Rearrange product lines on consultations, estimates, and refunds

You can rearrange the order of your product lines on:

  • New or pending estimates
  • New or draft consultations
  • New or draft refunds

The order in which product lines display at the time the estimate is converted to a consultation, or the consultation /refund is closed, is the order the product lines will display in preview, when printed, or when emailed.

Note: You cannot rearrange products on counter sales, converted estimates, or closed consultations and refunds.

Individual product lines and products from ungrouped procedure templates can be rearranged one at a time and moved to any row.

Products from grouped procedure template can be moved as one block. Individual product lines within a grouped procedure template cannot be rearranged.

Note: When you click the Rearrange icon NC_rearrange.png and drag:

  • The line or block of products will turn blue indicating the line or lines are being moved.
  • All the details of the line or lines will be moved: product name, label notes, date, provider, quantity, and price, as well as any special actions (print document, Rx ID, batch information, etc.).

 

Rearrange consultation or refund product lines

  1. Create a new consultation or refund.
    OR
  2. Search for and locate the draft consultation or refund you want to update. Then click the consultation ID to view the consultation /refund.
  3. Review or update product lines, as needed.
  4. Click the Rearrange icon NC_rearrange.png . Then continuing to hold down your mouse button, drag the product line or grouped procedure template product lines up or down until a blank line appears where you’d like to move the product.
    Tip: You may need to drag a grouped procedure template a little higher or a little lower to rearrange it.
  5. Let go of your mouse button to drop the product line or lines in the desired row.
  6. Click Save.

 

Rearrange estimate product lines

  1. Create a new estimate.
    OR
  2. Search for and locate the pending estimate you want to update. Then click the estimate ID to view the estimate.
  3. Review or update product lines, as needed.
  4. Click the Rearrange icon NC_rearrange.png. Then continuing to hold down your mouse button, drag the product line or grouped procedure template product lines up or down until a blank line appears where you’d like to move the product..
    Tip: You may need to drag a grouped procedure template a little higher or a little lower to rearrange it.
  5. Let go of your mouse button to drop the product line or lines in the desired row.
  6. Click Save.

 

You will see the products in the order you rearranged when viewing the estimate, consultation, or refund:

  • From the Estimates or Consults tab
  • Preview
  • Printed or emailed estimate or invoice

Once an estimate is converted, or consultation /refund closed, the Rearrange icon NC_rearrange.png will no longer display.
