SETUP

In Neo, you can find your Neo Cloud Print username and password in Administration > Cloud Printers.

If you are on the Neo Cloud Print login page, you can click the “Can’t access your account?” link to get directions how to find your login information. 


No, the username and password generated by Neo identifies and links your practice branch to Neo Cloud Print.


Neo Cloud Print can be installed on both Windows and Mac operating systems.


All printers that are set as active in Neo Cloud Print will display in the drop-down list when adding printers in Neo.


You must be physically at the branch or practice when you are configuring Neo Cloud Print. This will allow Neo Cloud Print to recognize the printers at that branch’s location.


PetDetect printers are not able to cloud print at this time.


The PDFs will be saved to the cloud (Amazon S3) whether the check box is selected or not. If the check box is selected, the PDFs will be saved in one of these locations.

  • Windows: C:\Users\[your user name]\.printnode\idexx\10\logs 
  • Mac: /Users/[your user name]/.printnode/idexx/11/printjobs

Some antivirus software may incorrectly flag the Neo Cloud Print installer as a malicious file. Neo Cloud Print is safe to download, and you may find it beneficial to mark it as safe in your antivirus software or add it to your software's whitelist. Refer to your antivirus software documentation for instructions on how to do so.

USAGE

Neo Cloud Print must be running on the device that the label printer is physically attached to for cloud printing to work.


For Windows users: You can check if Neo Cloud Print is running and logged in by opening it from your system tray.

For Mac users: You can check if Neo Cloud Print is running and logged in by opening it from the menu bar.


⚑ Do I need to open and log in to Neo Cloud Print every time I restart a device that has Neo Cloud Print running on it?

No, if Neo Cloud Print is running on the device when you restart it, it will automatically restart as logged in and running when you restart or reboot your device.

If you have clicked Quit in Neo Cloud Print, you can restart it from your computer’s, laptop', or device’s Programs menu.

TROUBLESHOOTING.

If Neo Cloud Print stops working but there is no error while printing, restart the Neo Cloud Print application.

If restarting the Neo Cloud Print application does not resolve the issue, please contact Neo Support for troubleshooting assistance at 800-296-7141.


When you connect a cloud printer to a different computer, you will first need to delete the cloud printer and then add it again as a new cloud printer in Administration > Cloud Printers.

Note: If the printer is assigned as the default cloud printer for any forms, you must reassign a different printer to the form before you can delete the printer.
