Order diagnostics from IDEXX VetLab Station or IDEXX analyzers
- Orders can be placed from the IVLS only for diagnostic products that have been activated in Neo.
- When you start a new diagnostic test at the IDEXX VetLab Station or at an IDEXX analyzer:
- Neo will receive the result as long as the client is associated with the result in the IDEXX VetLab Station.
- When the results become available in Neo, you will need to manually reconcile them from the Diagnostic Orders and Results page to a patient's consultation. To learn more, see Reconcile unmatched orders and results.
- For the IDEXX Catalyst Cortisol test. After ordering an initial cortisol test, to order a secondary test under the same requisition ID, you must place the order on your IDEXX VetLab Station from Add Test > Append. For detailed information including the IDEXX Catalyst Cortisol workflow, which tests to order for what protocol, and more, you can view applicable resources in the Catalyst Cortisol Test section here.
